Sir Samuel Snuggleford is a calm and very friendly one of a kind, artist teddy bear in fabulous faux fur & gorgeous mohair by Barbara-Ann Bears
Sir Samuel Snuggleford stands 17 inches/43 cm tall and is 15 inches/42 cm sitting.
Sir Samuel is a fabulous teddy bear. He is very elegant and dignified yet very friendly and approachable, definitely a bear you can hug. He has quite a 'beary' profile, with a marvellous nose and quite a large tummy, he's a bear who can sniff out a marmalade sandwich over two mountain ranges!
Sir Samuel is mostly made from a very exciting faux fur, it gives the impression of being in patches but is, in fact, a continuous piece (we have no idea how they make it, it's all magic to us), the different colours are also of differing lengths, the black tipped beige, ultramarine and black tipped white are quite long, while the black is a little shorter. The different colours are arranged in irregular patches, you could spend a long time analysing how they are arranged and wondering how it was made. His face, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are made from a very long and fluffy white mohair.Sir Samuel Snuggleford has coordinating beige, German wool-felt paw pads.
Sir Samuel has large, beautiful, glass eyes (with eyelids) which were coloured to match his colouring. He has a carefully embroidered nose that incorporates all of his colours and a broad, cheerful smile. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing making him a little more cuddly and loveable. He's a very happy, friendly and cuddly bear, quite heavy too.
Sir Samuel Snuggleford is a wonderful bear, a bear with a deep, soulful personality, a bear you can talk to and know that he is listening. He has a wonderful presence, he seems to say 'come over and hug me' and that might be something you find hard to resist. Luckily as he is a very friendly and informal 'Teddy Bear Knight' he will allow you to call him Samuel, but calling him 'Sam' or 'Sammy' might cause furrows in his brow and his version of a 'Paddington stare', hmmm...
