Snowdrop is a particularly small and adorable snowbear, a one of a kind artist bear in fluffy, snowy silk and mohair by Barbara-Ann Bears

Snowdrop stands just 5 inches (12 cm) tall and is 4 inches (10 cm) sitting, this doesn't include the long plumes of white mohair that swirl about her head, these add a further 3 inches (7.5cm).

Snowdrop is a gorgeous little bear, she's one of our tiniest, a little bundle of fluffy, snowy fun. We were lucky to be able to buy some Japanese silk at the recent Winter Bearfest in London, Barbara usually likes to dye this, but on this occasion she decided to make a bear from it undyed (it was very difficult for her to resist the urge to dye it). So we have Snowdrop, she is very sweet, the embodiment of a true Barbara Ann Bear but in miniature (for us anyway). She has the multicoloured nose, the beautiful hand painted eyes with eyelids, the needle-sculpted face and the huge smile, she's a proper Barbara Ann Bear alright... just a bit susceptible to blowing away in a strong breeze.

Snowdrop is mostly made from a fairly long, fabulously fluffy, cream coloured Japanese silk, this is paired up with an even longer, feathery white mohair, which we used on her face, the backs of her ears and the underside of her tail, this can be seen blowing around in the photos, giving the impression we had storm force 10 gales today, when it was really the lightest breeze. She has very subtly hand-dyed velvet paw pads in wintery, pastel colours (you have to get the hand dyeing in somewhere).

Snowdrop has beautiful, hand painted, glass eyes with eyelids, a neatly embroidered nose that captures the colours of winter and a cheerful, cheeky smile. Snowdrop is stuffed with glass beads and polyester stuffing making her a little more cuddly and loveable.

Snowdrop is a gentle little bear, small enough to sit in the palm of your hand or go anywhere with you, always ready should you need a fluffy little snowball, we hope she makes you smile.
