Spudnutz is a very humorous and quirky, one of a kind, hand dyed mohair, artist bear by Barbara-Ann Bears
Spudnutz stands 16.5 inches (42 cm) tall and is 12 inches (30 cm) sitting.
Spudnutz is quite a funny bear, he isn't a bear who takes himself seriously, he just loves to make people happy. He has a loveably dopey expression, with his sticky-out big ears, his cheerful grin and his big eyes, he has a childlike innocence and simplicity. He is one of our older designs, dating back to the late 1990s, a link between our traditional bears and the wild and wonderful designs you see now, we thought it would be fun to bring him back and see what people made of him.
Spudnutz is made from a fairly long, shaggy, distressed mohair that Barbara has hand dyed in a subtle blend of earthy colours, with many shades of soft brown and splashes of green and purple. Spudnutz's hand-dyed velvet paw pads compliment his mohair beautifully.
Spudnutz has very large, beautiful, hand painted, glass eyes which together with his carefully embroidered nose were made to incorporate the colours of his mohair and as you can see Spudnutz has a broad, beaming smile. Spudnutz is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets which make him a little heavier and more cuddly.
Spudnutz is a bear whose sole aim in life is to make you smile, he's quite a gangly bear with a wonderful expression, we hope you love him, he needs a few hugs and cuddles.
