Stanley stands 14.5 inches (37 cm) tall and is 11.5 inches (29 cm) sitting.
Stanley is a very handsome and friendly teddy bear, a fluffy bear of soft warm colours and gentle charm. Stanley is a bear who is always ready for a big hug when you come home. He will sit quietly waiting for you at the window, well for a little while at least, but when he sees you disappear from view he'll head straight to the kitchen and see what there is to eat, biscuits and cake are his favourites, but jars of marmalade or honey run them close. Yes, he makes a big mess but he always cleans up after himself, and then goes back to the window and waits patiently for your return while checking in his mind that not a single thing is out of place in the kitchen. This is what all teddy bears do when you leave them alone.
Stanley is made from the most gorgeous and luxurious long faux fur, it looks like a patchwork but is one piece of fabric, areas of rose, cream, peach and pink are outlined in black and in some places banded with black, it's a sumptuous and fascinating fabric. His face, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are a long blond mohair with a warmer backcloth, his tummy is a very long and fluffy black-tipped blonde faux fur and his back is another long, fluffy faux fur banded in terracotta, cream and black. Stanley's paw pads are made from hand-dyed velvet which coordinates very well with his colouring.
Stanley has beautiful, large hand painted glass eyes with hand painted eyelids, a wonderfully embroidered nose, sewn from individual threads to match his colouring and he has a beaming smile. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make him more poseable, a little heavier and more cuddly.
Stanley is a gentle, friendly teddy bear, he has a big heart and reassuringly large tummy, he's always ready for more cakes and biscuits and lots of hugs.
