Sweeter Peter stands just 6 inches (15 cm) tall and is 4.5 inches (12 cm) sitting.
Sweeter Peter is a sweet and friendly, little bear, a bear who loves to be with people. He might be small but he has a big personality! He's a bit of a rebel, not a lot of a rebel, just a little bit. He asked us if we could make him a bit more interesting, he said " I know my brown tipped gold fur is very beautiful, I want to be more interesting, I want to be a little bit different..." He didn't want anything as brash as a colourful tummy, just something subtle, like colourful ears and tail...sweet and fruity, apple coloured ears and a very colourful tail. So from being a 'plain' Peter he became a sweeter Peter.
Sweeter Peter is mostly made from a gorgeous, long and twirly brown tipped gold mohair German mohair, his ears are a medium length straight pile mohair hand dyed vermilion on the front and a much longer and straggly mohair hand dyed in 'apple shades' of green, with hints of amber on the back, which creates a sort of halo of fluffiness around his head. The underside of Peter's tail is a very long and straggly mohair hand dyed in the strongest shocking pink, most of the time he sits on it but he does like to flash his tail about when he gets excited. Peter has predominantly beige hand dyed velvet paw pads which complement his mohair perfectly.
Sweeter Peter has beautiful glass eyes, hand painted to match his colouring, as were his hand coloured eyelids. Peter's splendid carefully embroidered nose also captures the colours of his mohair, with a few extra colours at Peter's request, just to stop anyone feeling he was even the slightest bit boring, and he has the sweetest beaming smile. Peter is stuffed with glass beads and polyester stuffing making him a little more cuddly and a little heavier.
Sweeter Peter is a warm and amicable fellow, he likes to have fun, to smile and laugh and just bring joy everywhere he goes. He such a lovable little chap, and as he always claims "a little sweeter than the average Peter".
