Tweedy is a an elegant and refined traditional Barbara Ann Bear made in a very dapper tweed from our local tweed maker Romney Tweed
Tweedy is 16 inches (38cm) tall and is 11 inches (30cm) sitting.
Tweedy is a collaboration with our local tweed maker Romney Tweed. He is an elegant, classical teddy bear, a refined gent, charming and whimsical, like a bear in a tweed suit.
Tweedy is mostly made from an interesting, strong, tweed, it has a geometric golden brown and creamy beige pattern which is hard to describe but can be seen clearly in the photos, Romney Tweed make beautiful bags and purses from this fabric.
Tweedy's paw pads are also tweed, this time in a brown, beige and blue tartan and he has vintage shoe buttons for eyes. Tweedy has a marvellous multicoloured nose, stitched from the strands of wool used to make the tweed so it matches perfectly. Tweedy has a perky, happy expression
Tweedy is stuffed with a mixture of polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, making him more cuddly, comfortable and easy to pose and hug. Tweedy comes with our own tag and swing ticket as well as a tag and swing ticket from Romney Tweed, to show his authenticity.
Tweedy is a charming and elegant bear with a calm assurance, a bear to be hugged and admired, a bear to be loved. He is quite different from our other bears and we are proud to be able to work with such a prestigious fabric maker, we hope you love him as much as we do.
