Willoughby is a sweet and cuddly, traditional one of a kind, artist teddy bear made in splendid German mohair by Barbara Ann Bears

Willoughby is quite a big teddy bear, he stands 18.5 inches (47cm) tall and is 13.5 inches (34cm) sitting.

Willoughby is a wonderful traditional teddy bear, he's one of the most traditional teddy that we've ever made in his form and colouring. We were very lucky that a German friend saved the mohair for us and we knew just which bear to make from it, our best 'proper' teddy bear pattern. We think Willoughby has turned out very well, he's obviously a bear who likes his honey...and his cakes, his biscuits and scones, and... well, let's just say that he's a very 'solid' bear.

Wilbur is made from a beautiful dense, blond, straight pile, German mohair. He has beige wool-felt paw pads and large beautiful eyes, these were painted in a very a subtle manner with colours to match his mohair. Willoughby has a splendid, carefully embroidered brown nose and a relaxed and demure expression.

Willoughby is stuffed with a mixture of polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, giving him a cuddly and relaxed demeanour, comfortable and easy to pose and hug. As with all our bears he is 5-way jointed.

Willoughby is a charming and very friendly bear, he's definitely a bear who loves his food and seems to be constantly prepared for hibernation, even in the middle of summer! He's a wonderful, cuddly chap, we hope you like him.
