Wowzer, an exceedingly vibrant, happy and colourful, one of a kind, artist teddy bear in hand dyed mohair and faux fur by Barbara-Ann Bears
Wowzer stands 11 inches (28 cm) tall and is 9 inches (23 cm) sitting, this doesn't include her shock of wild hair which adds another 2.5 inches (6cm) to those measurements.
Wowzer is an extremely cheerful multi-coloured bear, a bear of beautiful, vivid, spicy colours. For all her colourfulness and eccentricities you can see in Wowzer's eyes that she is a calm and thoughtful bear, she thinks deeply and really just wants a loving home and someone who will share a journey through her whimsical world.
Wowzer is made from a great variety of mohairs and faux furs of different textures and lengths, she's mostly made from a medium length, slightly tufty mohair that Barbara has dyed in rainbow-like bands of lime, yellow, orange and purple, her tummy and the underside of her tail are a very soft and dense, gold tipped brown faux fur, the lower part of her face is a long, frizzy mohair hand dyed a warm pink with a hint of orange and the top of her face is the same mohair hand dyed a lemony cream, the backs of he rears are a very long orange faux fur and topping it all she has a similar faux fur this time in bands of vibrant pink, orange, yellow and lime, this together with her fluffy ears forms an arc of colour around her head. It's much, much easier to look at the photos than understand the description, you'll just end up as confused reading as I was writing it.
She has hand dyed velvet paw pads, large, beautiful, sparkling, hand painted, glass eyes with eyelids, a huge, carefully embroidered nose that incorporates all the colours of her mohair and that broad, cheeky smile. Wowzer is stuffed with plastic pellets, glass beads and polyester stuffing making her a little more cuddly and loveable.
Wowzer is a wonderful bear, full of colour and happiness. If you want a bear to make you smile, or just ponder quietly, then you'll find none better and more determined than Wowzer.
