Chutney is an adorably cute little artist bear in wonderful tipped mohair by Barbara-Ann Bears
Chutney stands just 7.5 inches(19 cm) tall and is 5.5 inches (14 cm) sitting.
Chutney is a wonderfully shaggy little chap, a bear who loves to walk around on really cold and windy days knowing that his lovely thick fur will keep him warm, not on wet and windy days mind, no, definitely not, he'd come home looking like a soaked poodle. He has the childish charm of the naughty schoolboy that you can't help loving when you should be telling him to 'stop doing that' or 'get down out of there', he's just a little bear who needs love and cuddles.
Chutney is nearly entirely made from the most wonderful, dense and straight, dark brown tipped mohair, we just had this little piece left and there wasn't quite enough to make the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail, which are a similar dark brown tipped beige mohair. Chutney has beige German wool felt paw pads that go with his mohair beautifully.
Chutney has hand painted glass eyes with eyelids, a carefully embroidered nose and a warm beaming smile which gives him that puppy dog 'please pick me up and love me' expression. He is stuffed with glass beads and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly, he is quite heavy for such a little chap.
Chutney is very happy to sit at home, quietly watching TV with you, then if it's a cold day as soon as your back is turned he might decide to run into the garden or park and climb a tree, he always comes home for mealtime though, he loves a cheese sandwich or a Ploughman's Lunch, anything that goes with his name.
