Indigo Joe is a wild and wonderful bear, full of colourful happiness, a one of a kind, mohair artist teddy bear by Barbara-Ann Bears
Indigo Joe stands 7.5 inches/19 cm tall and is 5.5 inches/14 cm sitting, not including his wild plume of hair which adds another 3 inches (7.5 cm).
Indigo Joe is a very happy and colourful bear, he's like a little teddy bear flower with his bright colours and yellow hair. He's just a little sweetie, not a bear to have wild parties more of a 'stay at home for lots of hugs and cuddles' sort of chap. Colour, smiles, happiness and love all wrapped up in a teddy shaped bundle.
Indigo Joe is mostly made from a fairly short and straight sparse mohair which Barbara has hand-dyed in lime , blue, orange, and yellow. His tummy is a long mohair hand dyed a pale jade, his face is a long wispy mohair hand dyed lemony yellow, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are a long fluffy mohair dyed blue. Topping it all Indigo Joe has a very long plume of sunny yellow faux fur, yes, he's a colourful chap. Indigo Joe's paw pads are made from multi-coloured hand-dyed velvet which coordinates very well with his main colours.
Indigo Joe has beautiful, hand painted glass eyes with hand coloured eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads to compliment his colouring and he has a huge, friendly smile. He is stuffed with polyester stuffing and glass beads which give him a little extra weight and make him a little more cuddly.
Indigo Joe is the happiest of teddy bears, a bear who wants to brighten every dark corner and bring smiles and laughter wherever he goes.
