Clarence is an elegant yet cuddly, substantial, traditional one of a kind, artist teddy bear in gorgeous mohair by Barbara Ann Bears
Hubert is 19 inches (48cm) tall and is 13.5 inches (35cm) sitting.
Clarence is a very elegant teddy bear, he has the manner of an old gent and just needs a chair by the fireside and a gathering of small children listening to his tales to complete the picture. He is a very friendly chap and his scrumptious fur and rather large tummy makes him extremely cuddly.
Clarence is made from a beautiful, tousled (ratinee) pale grey mohair. He has grey wool felt paw pads and beautiful eyes, these were painted in a very a subtle manner with colours to match his mohair. Clarence has a splendid, carefully embroidered nose embroidered in charcoal wool which has silvery grey flecks in it and a relaxed and thoughtful expression.
Clarence is stuffed with a mixture of polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, giving him a cuddly and relaxed demeanour, comfortable and easy to pose and hug. As with all our bears he is 5-way jointed.
Clarence is not the most classical in his proportions, he's more characterful with his long nose and neck and portly tummy, he's more distinguished and eccentric, a bear who has lived the good life. He loves to make up stories about great teddy bear adventurers and pirates, of fierce wild bears living in deep, dark forests and also quite likes to discuss honey and cakes...

As with all our bears, Clarence is not a toy, he is an adult collectible and unsuitable for children under 14.
