Louis is a very sweet and friendly, almost traditional one of a kind artist teddy bear by Barbara Ann Bears in subtly hand dyed mohair
Louis stands 10.5 inches/26 cm tall and is 8 inches/20 cm sitting.
Louis is a gentle, sweet teddy bear, a beautifully coloured teddy who just wants to spread love everywhere he goes. Louis is a bear who loved to wander, he wandered across the moors and through the peat bogs where he knows the names of all the plants and birds (in teddy bear language), he talked to the larks and curlews, hugged the voles and shrews and carefully avoided the buzzards and foxes. But now he wants to settle down, he has seen the other teddy bears in people's houses being cuddled and loved and he realises that's the sort of life he really wants.
Louis is mostly made from a beautiful, fairly long and wild mohair that Barbara has dyed in subtle shades of grey, pink, gold and brown, his tummy is a more wavy mohair dyed in delicate shades of rose, pink and magenta, it goes very well with his main colours. Louis has matching hand dyed velvet paw pads
Louis has rose coloured glass eyes, a nose carefully embroidered in individual threads to match his mohair and he has the sweetest smile. He is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, which gives him a more cuddly and soft feel.
Louis is a lovable little bear cub, a calm and friendly character and a pleasure to have around the house. He loves to talk about his time wandering the moors and heathland and also to listen to all your stories and about your adventures.
