Rutherford stands 9 inches/23 cm tall and he is 7 inches/18 cm sitting.
Rutherford is a beautifully coloured, sweet and loving teddy bear. He's a curious chap, he loves wander across the high ground looking for rabbits and wild haggis. He's found several rabbits but is still looking for his first wild haggis, but he knows they're there and he won't give up until he's found one... or he lives somewhere a long way from the land where the haggis roam, maybe you could help...?
Rutherford is made from a sumptuous, long, very dense, soft and twirly, brown tipped gold mohair and he has rich brown German wool felt paw pads.
Rutherford has beautiful hand painted, twinkling, glass eyes with hand coloured eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads that tie in with his colours and a happy, hopeful expression, the sort of expression that seems to be asking for a big hug (or it could be cake). Rutherford is stuffed with plastic pellets, glass beads and polyester stuffing that give him a little extra weight and allow him to be posed in a variety of positions.
Rutherford is a gentle, humorous bear, he has that expression that suggests he is in need of hugs and cuddles, a bear who is very easy to live with but will always tug at your heartstrings.
Rutherford is the first of his design, we hope you like him.
