Balthazar is a magnificent and very handsome, one of a kind, artist teddy bear by Barbara-Ann Bears in a gorgeous fluffy and batik mohair

Balthazar stands 19.5 inches (50 cm) tall and is 15 inches (38 cm) sitting.

Balthazar is a big, heavy bear with a very dignified and relaxed manner. He may look like a wild bear, but he's a big gentle bear always ready for a little (or a lot of) hugging. When he's not hugging he loves to sit and listen to your concerns, he won't offer any useful advice but at least you know he'll have been listening.

Balthazar is mostly made from a very dense and luxurious, wildly distressed, batik mohair which is a warm brown intermingled with blond in colour, his face, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are made from a very, very long (and expensive) tousled blond coloured mohair and his tummy is a very long and twirly dark brown mohair, the two longer mohairs tie in superbly with his batik mohair. Balthazar has coordinating paw pads made from beige, German wool felt.

Balthazar has large, beautiful, glass eyes which are designed for use in taxidermy, they are replica buzzard eyes, the eyes have hand coloured eyelids. He has a carefully embroidered nose that incorporates all of his colours and a sweet, thoughtful smile. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing making him a little more cuddly and loveable.

Balthazar is a wonderful, big, fluffy bear whose gorgeous fur and long arms are made for cuddling, a bear who needs to hug and comfort. He's equally happy to sit though, just to be there at your side while you get on with life, he'll be there when you need him.

As with all our bears Balthazar is not a toy, he is an adult collectable and unsuitable for children under 14.
