Dear Prudence, a bright and friendly, one of a kind, artist teddy bear by Barbara-Ann Bears in beautifully coloured hand-dyed mohair
Dear Prudence stands 8.5 inches( 21 cm) tall and is 6.5 inches ( 16 cm) sitting.
Dear Prudence is a calm, friendly bear, a bear of warm, scrumptious, summer colours, a bear of flower filled meadows and blue skies. She has echoes of sunny childhood days spent out in the fields, talking to the cows and sheep, without a care in the world. She's colourful in a natural, happy way and this together with her calm and sweet personality make her a bear who is very easy to fall in love with.
Dear Prudence is made from a very long and twirly mohair that Barbara has dyed in a myriad of gentle colours, there are oranges, greens, blues, reds, yellows, maroons, purples, lilacs, almost every colour but no browns or greys, Prudence doesn't think brown or grey are proper colours, "they're just too dull darling" is what she says.
Dear Prudence has hand dyed velvet paw pads which compliment her mohair perfectly, beautiful, hand painted eyes with eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads to match her mohair and a sweet, rather doleful smile. Dear Prudence is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets which give her a little extra weight (best not to mention it) and make her a little more cuddly. As with all our bears Prudence is 5-way jointed.
Dear Prudence is a warm gentle bear, a bear to hug and admire, she might appear a little sad but she's just thinking, thinking about the blue sky and the beautiful day and whether she'll come out to play, she'd love you to play with her but is just a little too shy to ask.
Prudence is one of our older designs and bears, she's been sitting watching the world go by, watching new bears come and go and has asked if she could explore the world and find a new home.

As with all our bears, Dear Prudence is not a toy, she is an adult collectible and unsuitable for children under 14.
