Fortescue is a very sweet, traditional teddy bear made from wonderfully soft and fluffy, golden German mohair by Barbara Ann Bears

Fortescue is 16.5 inches (42cm) tall and is 13 inches (33cm) sitting.

Fortescue is a soft and cuddly traditional bear, he has a very gentle, innocent character, he seems a little uncertain of what's going on around him and needs some reassurance and there's only one way to reassure a teddy bear and that's through lots of love and cuddles. If you are the sort of person who likes to hug and cuddle teddy bears then Fortescue could be the perfect bear for you.

Fortescue is made from a gorgeous, quite long and feathery German mohair, which is a warm gold with a hint of mustard in colour. Fortescue has coffee coloured, German wool felt paw pads and black boot buttons for eyes, like the antique teddy bears. Fortescue has a sweet nose carefully embroidered with black cotton thread and a relaxed and demure expression.

Fortescue is stuffed with a mixture of polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, giving him a cuddly and relaxed demeanour, comfortable and easy to pose and hug. As with all our bears he is 5-way jointed.

Fortescue is a sweet and gentle bear, he needs a quiet loving home where he will be appreciated and hugged. The name Fortescue goes back a thousand years, an Old French name meaning 'Strong Shield' he will always do his best to comfort you and shield you from the rigours of the world.
