Pinatubo is a very friendly gently colourful and not so fiery one of a kind artist dragon in beautiful hand dyed mohair by Barbara Ann Bears

Pinatubo stands 8 inches( 20 cm) tall and is 6.5 inches (16 cm) sitting, this doesn't include his plume of wildly fluffy hair which add an extra 2.5 inches (6 cm). He is about 12 inches (30cm) from nose to tail and has a wingspan of 8 inches (20cm).

Pinatubo is a little dragon, he's not a fiery dangerous dragon but a rather sweet and friendly dragon, he very rarely burns anything down and isn't even strong enough to carry a full grown sheep over a mountain, he's pretty low down in the dragon pecking order, not much more than a slightly smoky sparrow. He's not really bothered about this, he wants to be friends, he doesn't covet gold or want to destroy civilisations, he's happy enough with a few hugs and admiring glances and if you treat him well he might huff and puff enough to keep your coffee warm for you.

Pinatubo is made from several different pieces of mohair, he's mostly made from a fairly short, straight pile, soft mohair that Barbara has hand dyed in a multitude of subdued shades, there's quite a lot of green, with patches of lime, amber, purple, dusky pink and a little patch of blue under one arm. His head and tummy are a very long and fluffy mohair that Barbara has dyed in peaches, pinks and greens, he has a long mane down his back made from three different mohairs, at the tip of his tail it's a very long and fluffy scarlet mohair, along the middle of his back it is a strong yellow and towards his head a deep crimson, the long fluffy crimson mohair was also used for his hair and the backs of his ears, giving him an arc of deep red around his head, a little like flames.

Pinatubo has hand dyed velvet paw pads that go perfectly with his colouring, and of course he has wings, these are also made from strong felt and maroon underneath and scarlet on top, to match his mane. As you can see he's made from quite a few different materials all brought together to form a perfect little dragon.

Pinatubo has beautiful, sparkling, hand painted glass eyes with hand coloured eyelids, a pert little nose embroidered from individual threads to match his colouring and a beaming smile, he is stuffed with glass beads and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly, it also helps with his balance.

Pinatubo is a sweet little dragon, he would only ever burn your house down by accident, maybe if he had a bad cough or ate too many chillies, as we said before he just wants to be friends but it might be worth checking your insurance documents to see if 'burnt down by dragons' is covered.
