Clarence Clearwater stands 19 inches (48 cm) tall and is 14 inches (36 cm) sitting.
Clarence Clearwater is a fabulous teddy bear. He is very elegant and dignified yet very friendly and approachable, definitely a bear you can hug. He likes to sit on rocks overlooking the sea on starry nights, listening to the sounds of the sea and marvelling at the magical sparkle of phosphorescence as the waves lap below him. Once, he says, he saw a mermaid, it could have been a seal or a porpoise, but he claims it was a mermaid swimming in the deep clear water. He says she looked up at him and mouthed the words 'buy more teddy bears'...or maybe it was a dream.
Clarence Clearwater is mostly made from a very long, exciting faux fur, it's like the moon and stars reflecting on the sea at night, mainly midnight blue with flashes of silvery blue and grey. His face, his tummy, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are a very long and feathery sky blue mohair. Clarence has coordinating blue ultrasuede paw pads.
Clarence Clearwater has large, beautiful, glass eyes (with eyelids) which were coloured to match his colouring. He has a carefully embroidered nose that incorporates all of his colours and a broad, cheerful smile. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing making him a little more cuddly and loveable. He's a very happy, friendly and cuddly bear.
Clarence Clearwater is a magnificent bear, a bear with a deep, soulful personality, a bear you can talk to and know that he is listening. He has a wonderful presence, he seems to say 'come over and hug me' and that might be something you find hard to resist.
As with all our bears Clarence Clearwater is not a toy, he is an adult collectable and unsuitable for children under 14.
