Jackie Okapi is a kooky, funky and funny one of a kind artist bear in printed cotton, mohair and faux fur by Barbara Ann Bears
Jackie Okapi stands 14.5 inches( 37 cm) tall and is 11.5 inches (29 cm) sitting, this doesn't include his plumes of wildly fluffy hair on his ears, which add an extra 3.5 inches (9 cm).
Jackie Okapi is quite a gangly, comical bear, he's a bear who wants to see you smiling and even laughing. He's an arty chap, but at his heart he is a teddy bear in need of love and a few cuddles, however if you would like to put him on a pedestal to be admired he will cope very well, just don't let it go to his head.
Jackie Okapi is made from several different pieces of fabric, he's mostly made from a Japanese printed cotton fabric with stylised animal motifs, there are a couple of cheetahs, a hint of zebra and two okapis, from which he takes his name, there are also flower and leaf motifs, these are laid out ion an aquamarine backing, please look at the photos they're a lot easier to understand. His face is a very long, wispy cream mohair, the backs of his ears and the underside of his tail are a long fluffy rose pink mohair and his tummy is made from a fluffy faux fur which appears as a patchwork of peach, brown, rose and black. Jackie's paw pads are made from a short, spotty fake serval faux fur, which makes him even more tropical and exotic.

Jackie Okapi has large, beautiful, hand painted glass eyes (painted to match his colours) with hand coloured eyelids, an impressive nose embroidered from individual threads to match his colouring and a beaming smile, he is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly.
Jackie Okapi is a wild and colourful arty teddy bear with a very sweet personality. He could give the appearance of being wild and unpredictable but his gentle personality means that he is an easy and interesting bear to live with, he will never cause any trouble, he just wants to make people happy.
As with all our bears Jackie O'Kapi is not a toy, he is an adult collectible and unsuitable for children under 14
