Frank Fairweather stands 20.5 inches (52 cm) tall and is 15.5 inches (39 cm) sitting, he's quite a big, heavy bear!
Frank Fairweather is a very dignified and splendid fellow, the sort of bear who will command a room with his presence. Although he has a quiet and restrained character he loves to be admired, for people to tell him how handsome he is or to remark on his gorgeous hand dyed fur. His colours are like all the shades of blue in a summer sky, but unlike the sky his colours won't turn grey during winter, he'll always be a happy, blue, fair weather bear!
Frank Fairweather is mostly made from a beautiful, dense, slightly distressed mohair which Barbara has hand dyed in many gorgeous shades of the most beautiful blues. His face, tummy, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are made from a very long and fluffy sky blue mohair which together with his hand-dyed velvet paw pads complement his hand dyed mohair perfectly.
Frank Fairweather has large, beautiful, hand painted glass eyes which sparkle like jewels and have eyelids and even eyelashes! He has a carefully embroidered nose that incorporates all of his colours and a sweet, thoughtful smile. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing making him a little more cuddly and loveable.
Frank Fairweather is a wonderful, big, teddy bear, he loves to love and be loved, he's not one to rush around, sitting quietly with you and leaning across for an occasional cuddle is more his style. He's a bear who will bring a smile to your face and even when the weather outside is atrocious he'll bring the blue skies of summer into your home.
