MishMash is a very sweet and friendly, almost traditional one of a kind artist teddy bear by Barbara Ann Bears in a mishmash of traditional and hand dyed mohair
MishMash stands 8 inches/20 cm tall and is 6 inches/15 cm sitting.
MishMash is a gentle, sweet teddy bear, a beautifully coloured teddy who just wants to spread love everywhere he goes. MishMash is a pleasure to examine, to see all his different mohair pieces, although he really appreciated being looked at as a beautiful and fascinating little bear, who like all teddy bears needs a few gentle hugs and a few cream cakes and marmalade sandwiches.
MishMash is made from a variety of different mohairs, he was made to use a lot of the little pieces of mohair we have left over from making other bears, which makes him delightfully random and unique. To start at the top, the top of his head and the fronts of his ears are a cream, string mohair, the sides of his head are a fairly long soft brown mohair and the backs of his ears are a fluffy mohair hand dyed in blue, green and cream. His tummy is a wavy mohair dyed in delicate shades of rose, while his back is a fairly long and feathery mohair dyed pale green. The outside of his arms are a fairly short sparse mohair hand dyed in amber, terracotta and gold, and the inside of his arms are a dense antique gold straight pile mohair. The inside of his legs are a long golden brown mohair and the outside of his legs are a short, dense mohair hand dyed in green, amber and blue. MishMash has green and cream upholstery fabric paw pads which have a neat geometric diamond pattern.
MishMash has hand painted glass eyes, a nose carefully embroidered in individual threads to match his mohair and he has the sweetest smile. He is stuffed with polyester stuffing and glass beads, which makes him quite heavy for a little bear and gives him a more cuddly and soft feel.
MishMash is a lovable little bear cub, a calm and friendly character and a pleasure to have around the house. He loves to listen to all your stories, he doesn't care if you are a bit grumpy or full of smiles, he'll be there for you with a sweet smile and a twinkle in his eye.
